I don't know where the years went; it hardly seems a minute since I was running about, free as a bird, at home in Castle-Douglas. I suuppose it's just as well that we can't see what the future holds, but I am sure that some of my aunts and uncles would have been stunned to see me in a shop in Helensburgh, all those years later.
However, we've been here for the last 20 years in our shop in West Clyde St, Helensburgh, selling Scottish gifts and jewellery as well as running a small, friendly coffee shop. Our main claim to fame has been our staunch support of things made in Scotland.
